OUR BOOKING CONDITIONS - THE FINE PRINT

Sundance Spirit (herewith called ‘The Company’) accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:

1. A booking is accepted only after the Company receives the deposit & issues the client or their travel agent a confirmation. The balance must be paid not later than 21 days before arrival; otherwise the Company may treat the booking as cancelled by the client.

2. As vacation operator we are responsible to you for supplying your vacation arrangements. We buy in vacation arrangements from various suppliers, but principally, whose only responsibility is to us to supply us with the services required by us for the purpose of the arrangements. The flights, coach journeys, cruises & other travel & hotel accommodation comprised in your itinerary are not actually provided by ourselves but by reputable carriers, cruise operators & hoteliers, & you should note that your vacation is subject to terms & conditions imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers, cruise operators, & other suppliers of services, some of which limit or exclude their liability & which are often the subject of international convention between countries.

3. All possible care is taken to ensure that suppliers maintain a high standard. However, we do not own or control the cruise operators, carriers or hoteliers & are not a carrier or cruise operator or hotel owner. Accordingly, we cannot be responsible in any way for day to day problems resulting from the booking or any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to persons or property, or any loss howsoever arising. We are unable to accept responsibility for any aspect of your vacation arrangements affected by matters over which we have no control including, without limitation, war or threat of war, riots & civil strife, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, industrial disputes or governmental action or reasonable apprehension of the foregoing, cancellation, curtailment or re-scheduling of flights, or for any failure on your part to obtain correct visas for travel.

4. While the Company will use its best endeavours to operate all components as advertised, changes in the itinerary may be made without notice where deemed necessary or advisable by the Company.

5. The Company undertakes to take all reasonable steps to ensure that date-related computer issues do not affect clients’ travel arrangements. We do not accept responsibility for disruption, inconvenience, cancellation or alteration directly or indirectly caused by or aggravated by the failure of any computer data processing equipment or media microchip integrated circuit or similar equipment, software or processing, storage or retrieval system.

6. Our prices are quoted in US Dollars. Prices quoted in the latest insert are based on costs at the time of publication. The Company cannot be held responsible for any changes that may occur & reserves the right to increase the price of any travel arrangements up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation, fuel surcharges, airfare increases as well as international exchange rate changes.

7. It is a condition of the acceptance of your deposit that all monies paid to Sundance Spirit, whether by way of deposit or final payment, may be disbursed by Sundance Spirit as & when it sees fit. All monies received by Sundance Spirit are deposited in its name with its bankers.

8. This catalog is issued on the sole responsibility of the Company & has been compiled with due & reasonable care.

9. Receipt of a deposit will be taken as an understanding by the Company that the participant has read & agrees to abide by these terms & conditions stated.

10. These booking conditions & the supply of services herein shall be governed by & interpreted according to the laws of Argentina, & both the client & the company irrevocably submits themselves to the jurisdiction of Argentina courts in respect of any proceedings arising out of or relating to these booking conditions or services provided hereunder.


IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION


AMENDMENTS: If you need to amend any arrangements after your original booking, please notify us in writing. One amendment can be made free of charge. Due to extra administration costs involved any further changes will incur a fee of not less than U$S30.00 per person per amendment, plus any charges levied by suppliers. An amendment constitutes a change to an existing booking.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: If you decide to cancel your vacation, please notify us in writing. Monies will be refunded less a cancellation fee per person, per arrangement, as a percentage of the tour costs: Notification more than 8 weeks before arrival - your deposit is refundable; Less than 8 weeks before arrival - 25% of total booking; Less than 4 weeks before arrival - 50%; Less than 14 days before arrival - 100% (no refund). Cancellation fees for arrangements using some overseas operators, cruise companies or airlines may vary from the above.

BOOKING FEES: For bookings of total gross value less than USD $300, a fee of USD $25 per booking will be levied. For late bookings, made within 7 days of arrival, a fee of USD $30 per booking will be levied. This is to cover communications & delivery of documentation.

INSURANCE:Travel insurance is not included in the price of your vacation. We strongly recommend that you have insurance that includes adequate cover for the full duration of your vacation, & for cancellation, loss of luggage/personal property, medical expenses & any accidental damage. By booking, you agree that Sundance Spirit will have no liability for any such loss or damage, & you accept that it is your responsibility to insure yourself fully. Your Travel Agent should be able to advise on this.

LAND ARRANGEMENTS: We endeavour to ensure that all your arrangements proceed smoothly. If you have a problem whilst on vacation, please contact the local Sundance Spirit operator immediately to enable it to be rectified. In the unlikely event you are still dissatisfied, please contact Sundance Spirit in Buenos Aires immediately. Any further correspondence must be sent within 28 days of the problem occurring. We regret we cannot accept liability in relation to any complaint or claim that is not notified in accordance with this clause.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: If you decide to purchase any additional services whilst on vacation, any dealings must be direct with the local operator, & not with contracted guides/drivers. Sundance Spirit cannot accept responsibility for any additional services made with local operators or contracted staff after commencement of travel.

NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR VACATION PRICE: Visas, insurance, excess baggage, extra meals, laundry, drinks, souvenirs, items of a personal nature including medication, international departure taxes, porterage & tipping are not included in the price of your vacation.

VACATION CATALOG VALIDITY: Every effort has been made to compile the information in this catalog accurately but circumstances may necessitate changes in itineraries & costs, of which you will be informed as soon as possible. Sundance Spirit shall not be liable for any resulting changes & reserves the right to increase the price of any travel arrangements up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation, fuel surcharges, airfare increases as well as international exchange rate fluctuations. It is your agent’s responsibility to ensure that the prices quoted comply with our latest cost insert.

PASSPORT & VISAS: A valid Passport is required to enter all South American nations. Some of those countries require your Passport to be valid from 3 months up to 6 months after your anticipated exit date. In addition, please check with your Travel Agent as regards Tourist Visas that may be required to be pre-issued, prior to arrival to any South American country. Sundance Spirit accepts no responsibility whatsoever for clients who arrive to a foreign nation with Passport irregularities; incorrect documentation; incorrect Visa; or those clients who fail to comply with specific medical vaccination regulations & therefore are denied entry. All Passport, Visa & Medical regulatory adherence is completely the responsibility of each individual traveller.

Your professional travel agent should be capable of providing such information as is required - equally, we strongly urge travellers to contact the nearest Embassy or Consular Office or Offical websites of the countries they are intending travelling to for the most up-to-date, correct information.
