Laid-back La Digue is a rustic retreat 30 minutes by inter-island ferry from Praslin, & would very likely rate as the most photographed island in the Seychelles.
The adjectives ´picturesque´, ´charming´ & most certainly ´relaxing´, sum La Dique up in a nutshell.

Its white sandy beaches are strewn with pink granite rock formations, as if rolled like dice from a giant hand, while the turquoise seas abound with coral & all manner of species of colorful tropical fish.
La Dique is typified by quaint island roads traversed by ox carts & bicycles.
Here, the pace of life is slow, so it's impossible not to relax. The resort's tropical gardens, spacious pool & gorgeous beach will help, even dining is a relaxed affair with Creole buffets in Le Pêcheur restaurant.
Visits to the Copper Factory & plantations at nearby L'Union Estate are recommended, as are trips to the photogenic Source D'Argent beach.
Beside the shallow waters of sand-fringed Anse Reunion, the island's main hotel, La Digue Island Lodge.
The Lodge has 60 guest rooms & provides a simple but comfortable, relatively lively La Digue base from which guests can easily reach the superb beaches & remote corners of this beautiful island of a total of 4 miles square on a hired bicycle.
