For those who care to dream, Fregate Island is tiny emerald outcrop of granite floating in sparkling seas & encircled by a coral reef - it's that island paradise dreams are made of.

A short 20 minute helicopter flight from Mahé, Fregate Island rises 125m out of the Indian Ocean - a tropical paradise which covers three square km of what can only be best described as is the most remote & secluded of the Seychelles granite islands.
Approaching by helicopter guests’ first view of Fregate Island is simply breath taking & like the bird after which it is named, Frégate symbolizes nature at its most inspirational.
With literally a beach for every day of the week, a fragile forest eco-system & the ultimate privacy of each exquisite luxurious villa is what makes Fregate Island transcend into a fantasy dream reality.
This is one of the most exclusive island addresses on our planet, let alone in the Seychelles; a truly sensational & sophisticated romantic luxury hideaway quite literally in a world all of its own.
Frégate has sixteen (16) villas, restricting the number of guests to
a maximum of 40 at any one time.
The island remains exclusive to its guests - no day visitors are allowed - with each villa positioned to ensure ultimate privacy. The villas are built of native mahogany & blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. The tropical feel of the buildings is deliberately casual.
Each villa has a large terrace with a day bed & Jacuzzi as an extension of the living area. The light & spacious interior houses colonial-style furniture & state-of-the-art technology.
Its lush vibrant contours covering an area of just a mile in length & less than a mile wide, guests may explore in their own 'golf buggy'.
The dense vegetation of coconut palms, takamaka bamboo & sangdragon trees are home to rare wildlife species that include a colony of giant tortoises.
Fregate's sixteen (16) thatched Villas are quite possibly the Seychelles' benchmark most luxurious accommodation. Fourteen (14) of the Villas have spectacular ocean panoramas, whilst 2 are in private gardens & perfect for families.
The elegant Asian-styled pavilions (air-conditioned) are positioned on bluffs above or between two dazzling beaches so as to catch the sun’s rays from dawn to dusk.

Richly furnished in Indonesian style with much use of hand-carved wood, Thai silk furnishings, Egyptian cotton, antiques & Asian artwork, each interior boast Balinese teak daybeds, plus a mahogany four-poster bed with mosquito netting, which is purely for effect.
A spacious open-air foyer opens out onto a grand living room & large bedroom, all with glass walls which slide back to allow the outdoors in.
Villas have two bathrooms (one with bath & both with inside/outdoor showers) & generously furnished verandahs. Facilities include satellite TV, in-room DVD & stereo with CD player.
The large sundeck, linked by deck or steps, leads to a secluded private jacuzzi & gazebo-style daybed area with dazzling Indian Ocean views.
Fregate's garden, plantation & surrounding ocean provide the raw ingredients for gourmet meals; the chef will even prepare fishermen's catch of the day.
International dishes are served at Fregate House.
Pirates Bar, situated next to the pool, serves light lunches, snacks & a tasty fresh fruit punch, whilst Plantation House creates Creole specialties on certain days.
Alternatively guests may opt to dine in the privacy of their villa or enjoy a picnic on the beach.
While many guests find the relaxing atmosphere of Fregate Island perfect for doing nothing, the lure of the beach might be strongest: fresh towels await you there when you succumb; as does a waiter, ready to take your order.
There are two fresh water swimming pools & seven beaches - one of which, Anse Victorin, is renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
For the more energetic - there are plenty of activities: Mountain bikes, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, fishing & snorkeling are all complimentary for guests.
Instruction & certification in scuba diving and snorkeling is available at the PADI-certified dive center.
To help you discover the unparalleled wildlife, island ecologists are on hand to guide hikes through the tropical jungles & along the rugged coastline.
There’s also a fully equipped gym, a freshwater ‘horizon’ swimming pool set in a natural rock basin, an extensive air-conditioned library, boutique & a children’s game room.
The 47-foot luxury teak launch, Bemfujjo, is ideal for excursions out to sea, or guests can go game fishing on the 37-foot Little Frégate Bird. Her sister vessel, the 43-foot motor yacht Frégate Bird, is also available for charter.
To the north of Fregate is Chimney Rocks, one of many popular diving locations where experienced divers may explore the dazzling underwater world that encircles the island.
Guests may also mountain bike their way along trails that cross the island; or go Hobie Cat sailing, book a sunset cruise or simply stay at home & indulge with a massage on the private deck of their villa.

North Island lies just north of Silhouette Island & its stunning white sand beaches are separated by dramatic rock formations on each end. All-in-all, it is considered a unique & private getaway retreat catering to the truly discerning world traveler searching for a place to ´get-lost´ in pure luxury.

The island was first farmed in 1826 by Marie Josephine Celerine Beaufond, a descendant of French settlers from Reunion & it remained in her family for the next 150 years, used as a plantation for growing fruits, spices, producing guano, fish oil & copra (coconut oil).
The farm was sold in the 1970´s & was quite literally taken over by coconut palms & alien weeds.
The new resort has now returned North Island to its former pristine majesty.
Each of the eleven (11) exclusive luxury villas have been individually handcrafted by Seychellois and African craftsmen with wood, local stone & glass. Each is completely self-contained, raised a meter off the ground to take advantage of the cooling island breezes.

Each villa has two bedrooms. A master bedroom suite & a second bedroom that can be converted into a study for guests staying in the master bedroom.
A luxuriously proportioned master bedroom with a changing room & writing area leads into a large en-suite bathroom with a marble bath & two showers, one indoor and one outdoor.

The bedrooms are air-conditioned with all rooms having overhead punkah- punkah fans.
The fully retracting sliding doors allow for uninterrupted views onto the lawns & the turquoise seas in front of each villa. There is satellite television, a DVD/CD system & Internet access.
Not that you need all that modern technology as after all, you are on vacation, but they are there just in case.
The kitchen leads off the lounge/dining area.
A private plunge pool & sala are the finishing touches in this private sanctuary.

Villas #1 to # 9 are discreetly located in the tree-line, facing onto the beach.
Villas #10 & # 11, referred to as Villa Royale and Villa North Island respectively are completely unique in their location.
Their layout has been designed to accommodate the incline along the extreme northern side of the An se d' est beach & they are secretly tucked away in the Takamaka forest.
The beach views from these villas are truly spectacular from every angle of these units. Together with the unique manipulation of the design, these two remarkable villas are separated from the rest.
